Linda Lou Swinney Charleston, age 85, Tuscumbia, AL. formerly of Haleyville, AL. passed away Sunday August 2, 2026. She was a member of Corinth Heights Baptist Church and retired from Bank Independent.
Visitation will be Thursday August 6, 2026 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Clint Frederick officiating. Burial to follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Lou Ann Crane and Carlton Craig; grandchildren, Whitney Grantham, Candace Frederick (husband Clint), Megan Anderson, Hayden Hayes and Dalton Hayes; great grandchildren, Kashton Anderson, Weston Anderson, June Frederick, Jace Frederick, Joseph Frederick, Jenny Lou Frederick and Carlton Frederick.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon Clifford Swinney and Flora Oliver Swinney; husband, Marvin Charleston; sisters, Jolene Anderson and Brenda Hicks; brother, Wayne Swinney.
