Florenda Henderson McLeroy, age 87 of Double Springs, passed away June 1, 2026 at Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born April 12, 1939 to Benton and Vinia Henderson. Florenda loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending her time on her favorite hobby crocheting.
Visitation will be held Friday June 5, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.
Florenda is survived by her grandson, Damien (Casey) Maze; great grandchildren, Brennon Roloff, Jorden Roloff, and Crimson Maze; daughters, Juanita (David) Perry, Linda (Al) Ahmed, Mary (Chuck) Smith, and Janet (Lane) Bellamy; sons, Morris (Joyce) McLeroy and Joel McLeroy; brothers, Parnell and Toby Henderson; sister-in-law, Gerene Henderson; daughter-in-law, Amanda Billings; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dalton McLeroy; son, Mickey Maze; parents, Benton and Vinia Henderson; grandparents, Tom J. and Hollie Henderson, and William G. and Martha Pearson; sister, Faynell Pruitt; brothers, Tom Jeff and J.W. Henderson; sisters-in-law, Lena Bell and Betty Henderson; brother-in-law, Ervin Pruitt; and grandson, Michael Perry.
