Main stage for the 9-1-1 Festival is set up on 19th Street behind the Haleyville Library
Crews were busy setting up the main stage and lighting for the Haleyville 9-1-1 Festival this afternoon. Located behind the Haleyville Library facing 19th Street, the main stage will host the Friday evening music before being removed for events Saturday morning. Saturday’s concerts will take place on the stage in the Heart of Haleyville Park on 20th Street.
The event kickoff will be Friday at 3pm, when vendor booths will open downtown. The kids zone opens at 5pm, when Area 51 takes the main stage. First Responder awards will be held at 6pm, followed by Michael Stacy’s Margaritaville at 6:30. Colin Stough will play at 8pm, followed by Friday Night’s Headliner, Aaron Tippin.
On Saturday, there will be car, motorcycle, and tractor shows starting at 8am, and the Haleyville Alumni and first responder parade will make its way through downtown at 10am. At 10:30 am, Sage Comeens will begin the concert series at the Heart of Haleyville Park stage on main street, Followed by the North Alabama Diamond Dancers at 11, Kenny Ray Horton at 11:30, Mike Jones and Marvin Leathers at 3pm, The Lauderdale County FFA String Band at 4pm, Raine at 5:30, and Saturday night’s headliner FreeBird Atlanta at 7pm.
There will be a ton of activities for all ages on both days. There is no admission charge so bring your lawn chairs and head to downtown Haleyville for this year’s 9-1-1 Festival!
