Simmie Nell Doss, age 83, Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday April 10, 2026. She was a member of Church of God 7th Day in Haleyville, AL.
A Gathering and Family and Friends will be Wednesday April 15, 2026 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Memorial service at 7:00PM in the chapel, with James Woodall officiating.
She is survived by her children, Debra Cornelius, Barry (Polly) Doss and Mark Doss; grandchildren, Jacob (Reanna) Cornelius, Zachary Cornelius, Anna Cornelius, Jeremy Doss, Shae (BJ) Hallman, Blake (Meagan) Doss and Kyle Doss; great grandchildren, Violet and Iris Cornelius, Krymson and Karson Doss, Kylie and Clay Hallman and Rebecca, Reed and Owen Doss; sister, Lois Fell; brother, Mike Morgan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurston Doss, parents, Earlie and Aslene Morgan; brothers, Earnest and Joel Morgan.
