Lonnie Loveless, age 70, of Haleyville passed away May 16, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 4, 1956 to Orvil and Cornelia Loveless in Hamiliton, Alabama. Lonnie loved to spend his time outside. Whether it was hunting, for rocks or game, or fishing or traveling to the mountains, his heart belonged to the outdoors.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 20, 2026 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. where the service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Dean Morgan will officiate. Burial will be at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Maryree Ann Loveless; daughters, Erica Loveless, Rhonda Loveless, Pamela Loveless, and Aleisha (Alex) McCollum; grandchildren, Logan (Megan) Childers, Madison Childers, Connor Nix, Ayden Nix, Serena Vandiver, and Kinsley McCollum; brother, Allen Loveless; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Orvil Loveless; mother, Cornelia Loveless; sister, Connie Ewing; and brothers, Orbie Loveless and Tommy Loveless.
