Logan Ryan Overton, age 30 of Houston, passed away October 3, 2025 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1995 to James Overton and Judy Hodge Overton.
Logan proudly served his country in the United States Navy, was a proud Eagle Scout, and an avid outdoorsman.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Brother George Whitten and Madison Jernigan will officiate.
Logan is survived by his daughter, Kennedy Ryan Overton; mother, Judy Hodge Overton; father, James Overton; spouse, Madison Jernigan; aunts, Joyce McLeroy, Jennifer Seymour, Jolene Noblett, and Margaret Smothers; uncles, Jerome Overton, Chuck Hodge, Roger Hodge, and David Hodge; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Myrtle Overton and Walter and Lucy Payne; grandparents, James and Alice Overton, James Harley Hodge, and Lola Mae Duke Hodge; aunt, Jayne Overton; uncles, Jeremy Overton, Donald Hodge, Robert Hodge, and Joe Hodge; and cousin, Levi Overton.
