On Tuesday, midway booths and rides are being set up in Haleyville
The Haleyville Lions Club spring carnival will be open this week, Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 5pm each day. This year the carnival is set up next to the Haleyville Fire Department on Highway 13 North.
The carnival was cancelled last year after the club lost their longtime location on Highway 195. Thanks to several people working together, the club was able to continue the event. Lions Club officials said those people include the property owner, officials with the City of Haleyville, and the Haleyville Fire Department.
You are invited out to the carnival this week! There is no admission charge, just pay per ride. There are also unlimited ride armbands available for $20. Please note riders must be at least 32 inches tall.
The carnival will offer fun and safe family entertainment for the young and young at heart, with rides and midway games, and of course your favorite carnival foods!
