Wilma Sue Sibley, age 87 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away August 12, 2026. She was a 1958 graduate of Phillips High School, Bear Creek, AL. She was a member of Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Haleyville, AL. She was a devoted pastor’s wife for 42 years. She taught Sunday School and helped in other areas of the church where needed. She traveled with her husband, Bro. Bobby in Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee in Revivals and churches that he pastored.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon with Bro. Keith Hood officiating. Burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Winkles, Brayden Winkles, Joey D’Antonio, Mark Harris, Cayden Bevan and Keith Whitman.
Wilma is survived by her children, Tim (Jan) Sibley and Benita (Randal) Foster; sister, Fayrene Whitman; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; five step grandchildren; and 13 step great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Lee Holland; husband, Bobby Sibley; sisters, Ola Mae (Bruce) Yielding, Shirley (J.L.) Dickinson and Lorene (Charles) Floyd; and brother-in-law, Billy Whitman.
