Willard Hal Jones Age 78 — Spruce Pine, Alabama passed away on December 30, 2025.
Born December 29, 1947, in Franklin County, Alabama, to Price and Christine Jones. Hal grew up with a deep love for country life. He was a welder by trade for most of his life. At home he could be found in the barn more often than in the house. Everything he touched — whether it had fur or feathers, leaves or blossoms — flourished under his care.
Family mattered deeply to Hal, whether they were blood or chosen. He was a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend whose quiet wisdom and steady presence will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sandra; his brother, Odell; and his sisters, Brenda, Pat, and Lucy. He is survived by his daughter, Kim and her husband Sean; his grandson, Dylan and his wife Kristy; his great grandchild Vaeh; his sisters Linda and Ruth; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Services will be held at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm Saturday, January 3rd with the funeral service to follow. The service will be officiated by Roger Jones.
