Wanda Freeman age 67 passed away on December 16, 2025. Wanda was the heart of our family, a devoted grandmother whose love touched everyone she met. Whether offering advice, showing up when it mattered most, or sharing a laugh, she was the steady presence her family could always count on.
Wanda had a love for fast cars and the freedom of the open road. Which reflected her independent spirit and zest for life. But above all else, her greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love knew no limits. Family gatherings, shared stories, and time spent together were what mattered most to her.
She is survived by her husband Greg Freeman, her children Kevin Shirley (Heather), Tim Shirley (Angelene), and Gregory Scott Freeman II “Scottie” (Karlie), her beloved grandchildren Madalyn Pruitt (Jordon), Aubrey Shirley (Nathan), Lily Shirley, Gregory Scott Freeman III “G”, Leighton Freeman, Cutter Freeman, and Vallie Freeman, great-grandchildren Tatum Pruitt, and many other family members and friends who were blessed to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Sue Borden and her siblings Jim, Glenda, and Roy.
Though she will be deeply missed, Wanda leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and loyalty that will continue to live on through her family. Her generous heart, contagious smile, and unforgettable spirit will remain with us always.
