Tressa Berry Wilson, age 75 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away July 8, 2025.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will be Sunday, July 13, 2025 at 2:00 p .m. at First Baptist Church of Haleyville. She will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow service at Corinth Heights Cemetery.
Tressa B. Wilson, daughter, wife, mother and Meme. Born to Helen and Ralph Berry on December 2nd, 1949 in Atlanta, GA. She is survived by her husband, Steve Wilson; her sons, Michael Humphries and Jason (Cyndi) Wilson; and daughter, Carrie (Tom) Davis; granddaughters, Eva and Mary Davis; and cousins Wanda Clarke, Melody Orr, Anita Foster, Renee Boykin and Chad Martin.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Berry; aunts and uncles, Bertie and Ed Atwood, Frances and JF Mitchell, Margaret and Ernest Orr; cousins, Martha Ann Atwood, Milton Atwood, Tommy Atwood, Margie Atwood Baker and Bonnie Mitchell Lunsford.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville for 33 years and was an active member of Young at Heart and the Adult Choir. Tressa taught 4th – 6th grade Sunday School from 1995 through 2003, helped with benevolence and the bereavement food ministry, Harvest of Hope. She treasured any time spent with her family and was always ready for an adventure or road trip.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
