Terry Wayne Gravitt, age 77, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday March 3, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Haleyville, AL. and was a graduate of Haleyville High School in 1966. He met Betty Vickery in 1964 and they married in 1966 and were married for 57 years. He was a retired Coal Miner with Drummond Coal Co. and a member of Pathway Church of God and continued his dedication to the Lord after Betty’s passing.
His visitation will be Friday March 6, 2026 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 1:00PM in the chapel, with Mark Fell officiating. Burial to follow in Botush Cemetery.
Pallbearers, Brody Gravitt, Blade Brasher, Christian Edwards, Dawson Philips, Rusty Lacey and Bradley Ritch.
Terry is survived by his children, Bubba Wayne Gravitt (wife Karen), Mandy LaShae Phillips (husband Jon) and Brandy LeAnn Rogers (husband Craig); grandchildren, Kaylin Marie Brasher (husband Blade), Courtney Leanne Edwards (husband Christian), Brody Lee Gravitt, Reagan LaShae Phillips, Jonathan Dawson Phillips and Anakate Marie Rogers; great grandchildren, Remi Jo Brasher and Ridge Wayne Brasher; brother, Donnie Adair; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Ann Gravitt; wife, Betty Ann Gravitt; mother, Myrtis Kelley; dad, Marion Gravitt; brother, Roger Lee Adair.
