Tammy Lynn Ward, age 56, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Terrace Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Tammy worked as a barber in Russellville area for the last 35 years. She had so many customers who loved her and always depended on Tammy. She was an outdoor girl, she loved hunting, fishing, hunting arrowheads and collecting rocks. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knows her.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Grissom Cemetery (Quinn Memorial) in Spruce Pine with Bro. Lonnie Oldag officiating the service.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Dill Graham; sister, Melody Pearson (Stuart); nephew, Phillip W. Pearson; niece, Maddie M. Pearson; and a host of friends who love her very much.
She was preceded in death by her father Johnny Ward.
