Shawn Lynn Young, age 54 of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.
She was born February 13, 1971 to Charles and Willene Young.
Visitation will be Thursday, August 14 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at Double Springs Memorial Cemetery (Cockrell-West). Amy Armstrong and Brother Gary Wakefield will officiate.
Shawn is survived by her friends and staff at Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center and the Winston- Marion Arc.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Willene Ann Holley Young; father, Charles Clay Young.
