Raymond McKinney, age 66, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at his residence.
Raymond was a simple man. He loved fishing, his friends, and especially his family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 46 years, Brenda Smallwood McKinney; children, Shawna Allen, Gloria Burnell, Thomas McKinney; grandchildren, Imani Johnson, Madison McKinney, Andre Johnson, Kimberly McKinney, Raeanna McKinney, Eriana Williams; great-grandchild, Ni’lah Kinzley Gaines; siblings, Margret Watson, JoAnn Farrington, Tommy McKinney, Janet Stenger, Teressa Bearden, Johnnie Faye Brazell, Shelia Cook; and a host of nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred & Myrtle (Parrish) McKinney, siblings, Billy McKinney, Mary Rogers, Eva Nelson, and Lisa Lane.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 17, 2026, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. The burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery.
The pallbearers will be the nephews, Jake Bearden, Bo Nulph, Donovan Brazell, Austin Miller, and DJ Kimbrough.
