Rayburn Welborn, age 81, of Double Springs, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 19, 2025.
He was born on February 11, 1944 to Charlie Lynch and Fannie May Welborn. Ray loved caring for and spending time with his dog Bobo.
A graveside funeral service will take place Wednesday, June 25 at 9:00 a.m. at the Moreland Cemetery in Moreland, Alabama. Brother T.J. Millican will officiate.
Rayburn is survived by his children, Gregory Ray Welborn, Jonathan Bradley Welborn, and Bethany Lanette Moore; grandchildren, Savannah Welborn, Trenton Welborn, Haley Welborn, Madison Welborn, Brayden Welborn, Jacob Welborn, JC White, Natalie Moore, and Avery Moore.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Carol Welborn.
