Rachell Manell Bridgmon, age 82 of Cullman, formerly of the Helicon Community, passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
She was born February 16, 1943 to Euell and Savannah Allred. Rachell loved her flowers and working in her garden. She will be remembered for being a great cook and homemaker. Rachell was a devoted pastor’s wife for 54 years and loved her family most of all.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 5, 2026 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Northside Baptist Church Cemetery.
Rachell is survived by her daughter, Kathy Rivers; son, David (Kathy) Bridgmon; grandchildren, Alyssa Wright, Devin (Danielle) Rivers, and Krista Bridgmon; great grandchildren, Ethan Wright, Caleb Wright, Bryant Rivers, Emmy Rivers, Amelia Rivers, Hatti Bridgmon, and Tallulah Bridgmon; sister, Ima Gean Chappell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Brother Glendel Ray Bridgmon; grandson, Dustin Brent Bridgmon; great grandson, Charlie Ray Rivers; parents, Euell and Savana Allred; and brothers and sisters, Junior Allred, Hortis Allred, Leonia Parker, Omie Selvage, Milton Allred, Onis Allred, Genora Brown, and Bobby Allred.
