Phillip Shawn Newton, age 54 of Double Springs, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026 at his home. He was born July 31, 1971 to Phillip Bode and Jo-Ann Ivey.

Phillip is survived by his son, Jason (Haley) Newton; daughter, Kayla Newton; six grandchildren; significant other, Tracy Cagle; mother, JoAnn Ivey; brother, Brian Newton; and one nephew.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Thelma Ivey; and father, Phillip Raymond Bode.
