Norman W. Overton age 78 of Double Springs, Alabama passed away Dec 5, 2025.
Norman was born February 17, 1947 in Haleyville, Alabama. He was the son of JC and Ruth (McCrary) Overton.
Visitation will be Monday, December 8, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama. Brother Ricky Yocum will officiate.
Norman was kindhearted and loving. Norman enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, going to car races, and watching cooking shows. Norman worked with his parents for many years at the Overton‘s Gas Station and Grocery in Delmar, Alabama.
Norman is survived by his two sisters, Wilma (Ray) Townsend and Linda (Ike McKenzie) Lepard of Bellevue, Ohio and two nephews; Earl Townsend and Larry (Stephanie) Lepard.
Norman is proceeded in death by his parents and twin, Dorman D. Overton.
