The Following Obituary is beautifully written by the family of Mrs. Tice:
Nancy Henderson Tice, 73, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, surrounded by the family she cherished above all else. Born on October 16, 1952, in Haleyville, Alabama, Nancy lived a life defined by strength, compassion, and boundless love.
A dedicated registered nurse, Nancy devoted her career to caring for others with kindness and skill. Her patients and colleagues alike knew her as someone who gave her all—whether offering comfort during difficult times or sharing her sharp sense of humor to lift spirits.
Nancy’s greatest joy was her family. She was the beloved wife of David Tice, devoted mother to Angela Simpson Ellis, and proud grandmother to Isabella Ellis. She was the daughter of Willard Henderson and sister to Tammie Wilkinson, each of whom she held close to her heart. Nancy was proud stepmom to Jeremy Tice and grandmother to Joshua Tice.
Known for her fiery spirit and unstoppable determination, Nancy was truly a force to be reckoned with. She overcame every obstacle life placed in her path and did everything with passion and purpose. Whether she was working, laughing with family, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, Nancy lived each day to the fullest.
Nancy’s love, strength, and resilience will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will forever be a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, Alabama, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.
