Four local law enforcement agencies teamed up to remove drugs from our community on Friday.
Winston County Sheriff Caleb Snoddy says that in the early morning hours of Friday, March 28th, his department executed a search warrant at the residence of Hunter Garrett and Macie Kimbrough in Haleyville.
The Winston County Sheriff’s Office worked in partnership with the Haleyville Police Department and the Bear Creek Police Department on the operation, and obtained the warrant with information provided by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and its deputies.
Hunter Garrett and Macie Kimbrough were taken into custody subject to the search warrant. Trafficking amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamines including raw fentanyl and 199 fentanyl pills as well as a distribution amount of cocaine were seized at the residence, as well as other narcotics, two stolen firearms and other firearms and cash related to the trafficking of narcotics.
Both subjects are currently being held at the Winston County Jail.
