Lillie Mae Wilson, age 89, of Houston, Alabama, passed away on December 17th, 2025, at her residence in Houston.
Lillie was loved by many who she loved in return even more. She was born in Tennessee then moved to Florida to work where she met her husband, “Doc Wilson”, then they moved to Houston, Alabama where she lived and called home for over 65 years. Lillie loved talking on the phone with all her friends. She was a faithful member of Pleasant Hill #1 Church in Houston where she served for many years and loved her church family so much. Lillie was a blessing to her family more than words can say.
Visitation will be Saturday December 20th, 2025, from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, Alabama where service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Church #1 in Houston, Alabama. Brother Doug Raburn will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ellis Wade Jr, Trey Yarbrough, Levi Hammack, Tyler Brown, Todd Wade, and Justin Wade.
Lillie is survived by her niece, Tara (Ray) Yarbrough, Ragen (Levi) Hammack, Gracie (Tyler) Brown, and Pauline (Randy) Allen; nephew, Trey (Taylor) Yarbrough, all who she loved and cherished with all her heart, and they loved her more than words can say. Brother, Johnny Prentice and wife and sister-in-law Dimple Prentice; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a host of brothers and sisters; and the love of her life Berlin “Doc” Wilson.
