Lila Grace York Staudt, age 76 of Decatur, formally of The Sardis Community, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at her residence.
She was born July 11, 1949 to Dallas and Eunice Pigg. Lila loved her children, family, sisters and brothers. Her family was her joy. Lila loved God.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Sardis No. 2 Baptist Church Cemetery in Addison. Montana Bates and Brother William McClellan will officiate.
Lila is survived by her children, Tom (Sherry)York, Karla (Rudy) Gingerich, and Heath (Angie) York; grandchildren, Montana (Tyler) Bates, Brett (Catie) York, Rhett York, Colby York, Caden York, Hannah (Joseph) Baker, Bethany Beavers; great grandchildren, Maddie Bates, Logan Bates, Judd York, Jacie York, Rhen York and Jaxon Beavers; brother, James Pigg; sisters, Sarah Lindsey and Regina (Jimmy) Thompson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, D.M Pigg and Eudell Pigg; first husband, Dwayne York; second husband, Donald Staudt; brothers, Paul Mitchell Pigg and Buddy Pigg; sister, Johnny and Annette Sears.
