The annual legislative forum in Haleyville will be held at city hall this Thursday, January 8th at 5:30 pm. Several community leaders will speak, including the local legislative delegation consisting of State Representative Tracy Estes, State Senate Pro Tem Garlan Gudger, and State Representative Tim Wadsworth.
The event will begin with a meet-and-greet at 5:30, following by the forum at 6pm. Haleyville Mayor Ray Boshell and other local mayors will give updates on what is happening in our communities, followed by a State of Our Schools address by Haleyville City Schools Superintendent Bill Bishop, and Winston County Schools Superintendent Jeff Scott. The legislative delegation will close with speeches and will accept questions from the public.
The event is expected to last about two hours, and the public is encouraged to attend.
