Her visitation will be Sunday August 17, 2025 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with Dr. Nathan Carroll and Bro. Corey Cochran officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
She is survived by her 4 children, Wayne (Rhonda) Glass, Benny (Rena) Glass, Julia Colley and Theresa Newton; 2 sisters and 1 brother, Etha Mae Garrison, Margaret Hester and Marshall Benefield; grandchildren, Lauren (Kenny) Spradling, Kent (Lizzy) Glass, Jennifer (Corey) Cochran, William A. Colley, Anthony D. Colley and Derrick Glass; great grandchildren, Hudson, Kayo, Kinsleigh, Gabe (Lacy), Anna Grace, Ben, Leslie, Savannah, Daniel, Abigail, Alex, Nathan and Nicholas; great great grandchildren, Haze, Jase, Beau, Ziva, Marshall and Elijah; a host of family and friends.
She was preceded inn death by her parents, Charlie and Myrtle Harris Benefield; husband, Alford; brothers and sisters, Edward, James, Pete, Thomas, Evelyn and Mary Nell.
