John Laney McAnally, age 76, of Russellville, passed away on Wednesday, January 07, 2026 at Helen Keller Hospital.
Laney was a carpenter by trade, and he always wanted to help others. He was a dedicated son and brother. He loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Wanda Downey (Tim); niece, Denese DesRuisseaux (William); nephew, Shane Proctor (Jean); great-niece and nephew, Bailey Bevels (Brian), Dustin Proctor (Marie); and one great-great nephew and niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Betty Jean (Allen) McAnally.
