Jerry Leon Lund, age 85 of Hackleburg, Alabama passed away peacefully at his residence Monday, August 25, 2025.
He was born to Luther and Gladice Lund January 14, 1940. Jerry’s favorite things included farming, humming birds, purple martins, and flowers. He loved his family dearly, and most of all always made sure they were taken care of. Jerry loved God and reading his Bible. He was a strong prayer warrior and a good life teacher.
Visitation will be on Saturday August 30, 2025 from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery in Hackleburg.
Jerry is survived by his sons, Tom (Ada) Lund, Steve Lund, Richie Lund; daughters, Vickie Davis, Angie Heatherly; great grandson, Jason Leggitt; brother Gene (Grace) Lund; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Elean Lund; children, Alice Lund, Tim Lund; and parents, Luther and Gladice Lund.
