Jason Skelton, age 46 of Haleyville, passed away Sunday July 13, 2025, at Haleyville Health and Rehabilitation. Jason was born to Daniel and Cathy Skelton on July 27, 1978. He was a kind soul with a great sense of humor. Jason spent his time enjoying movies and video games. He had a fondness for nature and wildlife. Jason dreamed of one day becoming a marine biologist and loved his family very much.
A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Friendship Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. in Haleyville, Alabama.
Jason is survived by his mother, Cathy Skelton; sisters, Annette Burleson (Michael Bougus), April (Ilya) Sedun; brother, Marc Skelton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Skelton; brother, Eric Skelton; and grandparents, Athel and Nina Godsey.
