James William Buckner, age 80, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday September 2, 2025. He was a Baptist, retired school teacher with the Haleyville City Schools having taught for 30 years.
His visitation will be Thursday September 4, 2025 11:00AM – 12:00NOON at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 12:00NOON in the chapel with Jimmy Wallace and Mickey Holdbrooks speaking. Burial to follow in Littleville Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Dianne Buckner; children, Jeane Wilkerson and Jonna Greene; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was preceded in death his parents, Mary Thompson and Chester Buckner; brother, Steve Buckner.
