Harold Edward Vickery, age 81 of Haleyville, passed away April 20, 2026.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 22, 2026 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from noon until 2:00 p.m. where the service will be held at 2:00. Burial will be at Bethel #2 Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville. Vance Hutton and Justin Guin will officiate.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Tammy (Greg) Cayson and Derinda (Roger) Moody; son, Jerald (JJ) Vickery; grandchildren, Stephanie (Elvis) Overton, Tyler Mosher, Casey Vickery, Derek (Heather) Vickery, Keshia Matthews, Susan Vickery, Blake Hodges, Seth Vickery, Orry (Alyson) Moody, and Noah (Maddie) Moody; 23 great-grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren; and siblings, Annette Lawler, Helen Mashburn, Peggy (Jimmy) Wright, and Larry Vickery.
He is preceded in death by his spouse, Marie Jeanette Dancer Vickery; granddaughter, Kendra Dionne Raburn; great grandsons, Bryce and Ryker Moody; siblings, Aquilla Lawson, Earlene Myhan, Bill Holt, Juanita (Toots) Pannell, Arnold Holt, Gene Holt, and Roger Dale Vickery.
