The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4 pm Tuesday, July 29, has claimed the life of a Hamilton woman.
Christal N. Stidham, 48, was fatally injured when the 2020 Ford Mustang she was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and overturned. Stidham was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 195 near the 39 mile marker near Needmore in Winston County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
