The Haleyville City Council met today with all members present except for councilman Colton Corum. The council voted to approve the minutes from both their July 6th regular meeting and July 10th called meeting, and to approve the June 2026 general operating bills and purchase orders.
The council voted to postpone its first August meeting one week, from August 3rd to Tuesday, August 11th.
Councilman Brian Berry gave a review of the Aloha Haleyville event and the upcoming Country Bingo, events in the Haleyville Hometown Summer event series at the pocket park downtown. Berry said Saturday’s event will be a new version of the Singo they hosted last year and invited everyone to attend. Berry then made a motion to adjourn.
