Gregory “Greg” Wade Pinkard, age 54 of Rogersville, Alabama passed away March 14, 2026. He was a member of Hines Memorial Baptist Church, retired from Law Enforcement having worked with many different agencies and retired as Deputy State Fire Marshall.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, AL. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Brandon Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Hines Memorial Cemetery, Bear Creek, AL. Pallbearers will be Terry Zills, Josh Pinkard, Owen Pinkard, Dave Pasqualotto, Hugh Plott and Shane Whitten.
Mr. Pinkard is survived by his wife, Stephanie Gordon Pinkard; parents, Leo and Cleta Pinkard; children, Josh Pinkard (Bailey), Maggie Hovater (Colton), Jamie Hill and Owen Pinkard; sisters, Rhonda Davis (Mike) and Kristy Tidwell (Gaylon); grandchildren, Judsen Hovater, Chandler Jo Pinkard; special relative, Jayce York; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Gail Sutherland Pinkard; and grandparents, Milton and Deltha Pinkard and Gene and Bertha Sutherland.
