Gerald Gray Hogan, 91 of Double Springs, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2025, at his home.
Mr. Hogan was born May 31, 1934, in Morgan County, to Floyd and Ruth Hogan. Gerald owned and operated the Piggly Wiggly in Double Springs from 1967 to 1983. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his family, and farming. He served as a Deacon at Antioch Baptist Church from 1974 to present. He served in the United States Army from 1957-1959, including an eighteen-month tour in Germany.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, Alabama where the service will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Antioch Baptist Church. Brother Randy Lee and Dr. G. Lance Hogan will officiate.
Gerald is survived by his wife Fern Gean Hogan of 68 years, his son G. Lance Hogan (Melanie); two grandsons, G. Thadeus Hogan (Heather) and Taylor Winston Hogan (Savannah); two great-grandchildren, Nora T. Hogan and Walker J. Hogan.
