Genetta Renee Steien, age 57, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away August 21, 2026, in Tuscumbia, Alabama. She was born March 31, 1969, to L.C. and Sonya Postell.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Thornhill Cemetery in Haleyville.
Genetta is survived by sons, William Kaleb (Janie) Steien and Jonathan Darrel Steien; grandkids, Kenzlee Kois, Everleigh Steien, and Bentley Steien; sisters, Sharron (George) Shirey, Lynn (Bart) Hyde, Diane Nesbitt, Karen Bonner, and Sandra Doss; brother, Franklin L. Postell; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by father, William “LC” Postell; mother, Sonya Postell; and stepmother, DeWanda Postell.
