Your Busy Bee Community Calendar for October 23, 2025:
The Jennifer Sunseri Sunshine League will host its next baseball games tonight at the Haleyville Sports Complex. The first game gets underway at 5:30 pm and you are invited to attend. 3103 9th Avenue in Haleyville.
The House of Refuge will host The Awakening, a night of worship in Phil Campbell Park, this Saturday starting at 3pm. There will be five speakers, including Jason Smith, Pastor Ricky White, Sarah Harbin, Jennifer Latham, and Brother Billy Moody from Corinth, Mississippi. You’re invited to attend, so bring your lawn chair to the Phil Campbell Memorial Park on Highway 13 Saturday.

The Haleyville Fall Festival will take place Saturday, in the Heart of Haleyville Park on 20th Street. The event will be from 3pm to 5pm and will feature tons of kids activities, including a hay ride, haunted maze, bobbing for pumpkins, and free Halloween candy!
The Restoration Church will host “Harvesting Hope” an evening of community fellowship, Saturday starting at 3pm. It’s a free event and they’ll have candy, games and prizes, a prayer booth, cakewalk and worship karaoke. The church is located at 6131 County Road 34 Haleyville.
CrossWay Church of God will have their Fall Festival on Saturday from 3 to 6pm. They’ll have games, food, candy, and a pumpkin patch. They are located at 2003 18th Avenue in Haleyville.
North Russellville Baptist Church will host their Fall Festival on Saturday from 4 to 6:30pm. They’ll have Trunk Or Treat, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, games with prizes, and more. The church is located at 1401 Waterloo Road in Russellville.
First Baptist Church Haleyville has rescheduled their event and will host their Fall Festival on Saturday. They’ll have food from 5pm to 6:30, and Trunk Or Treat at 6:30. They’re located at 1103 21st Street, Haleyville.
Old Trinity Missionary Baptist Church will host Trunk Or Treat on Sunday, beginning at 3pm. They’ll have free soup and chili, a hayride, cakewalk, and great fellowship. They are located at 1885 County Highway 143, Haleyville.
Ireland Freewill Baptist Church will hold their Trunk Or Treat on Sunday from 4 to 6pm. They’ll have hayrides, hot dogs, and candy. The church is located at 1508 County Highway 143, Haleyville.
Sunny Home Baptist Church will have their Trunk Or Treat on Sunday at 5pm. It’s a fall event so everyone is welcome with or without costumes. Located at 51 County Road 51, Haleyville.
Pleasant Hill #2 Missionary Baptist Church in Double Springs will host their Trunk Or Treat on Tuesday, from 6 to 7:30pm. They are located at 31170 Highway 195 Double Springs.
The Town of Bear Creek will host Halloween at The Senior Center, Tuesday from 6 to 8pm. The center is located at 260 High Street, Bear Creek.
Bethel #1 Baptist Church in Arley will have their Trunk Or Treat next Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The church is located at 2750 County Road 12, Arley.
New Prospect Baptist Church will host their fall festival next Wednesday from 6 to 8pm. They’ll have a hayride, food, games, inflatables, a cakewalk, and more. The church is located at 202 County Road 3463, Haleyville.
Mountain View Baptist Church in Phil Campbell will host their Trunk A Treat event, next Thursday from 6 to 7pm in their parking lot. They are located at 2110 Highway 81, Phil Campbell.
Solid Rock Church will host their Fall Festival on Saturday, November 1st from 4 to 7pm. All are welcome, and they will have kids games, a bounce house, free food, candy, and face painting. The church is located at 2507 Newburg Road in Haleyville.
The Pebble Haunted Hayride will take place Thursday, November 6th at 6pm at the Pebble Community Center. The ride will be a spooky living history event, featuring the life story of Aunt Jenny, and will end up in Bankhead National Forest with a visit to her gravesite. Tickets are ten dollars and will benefit the Pebble Community Center and Pebble Volunteer Fire Department.
