Eulene Batchelor Tidwell, age 85 of Nauvoo, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with burial in Ashbank Cemetery in Nauvoo, Alabama. Visitation for the family will be at 2 P.M., friends at 3 P.M. with the funeral service at 4 P.M.
Eulene was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Viola Batchelor; brothers, J. C. (Geraldine); J. D. (Opal); Levon (Betty); Robert, Grady, W. E.; Elisha (infant); and Samuel (Sandra).
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Jimmy Tidwell; son, Jonathan (Aimee); son, Melvin Willingham (Vickie); brother, Roger (Linda); sisters-in-law, Kathy Batchelor and Helen Batchelor; grandson, Doug Willingham (Kenyatta); great-grandson, Jonathan Willingham; granddaughter, Latasha Willingham; great-grandson Matthew Willingham; a very special family, Keith, Lori, Lilli, and Elli Davis; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved their Aunt Lene.
