Edward J. Barton, age 94 of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025. He was retired from Haleyville Textile and attended Union Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 14, 2025 from 11am to noon at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service will be at noon in the chapel, with Chris Chambless officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his grandson, Jason (Jennifer) Barton; great grandsons, Andrew and Alex Barton; daughter in law, Jenny Barton; sister, Faye Thrasher; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Luvenia Barton; wife, Madie Barton; son, Ronnie Barton; five sisters, Velma Chambless, Bernice Banks, Pearlie Pickard, Clara Benson and Imogene Mann; and brother, Barthal Barton.
