Donald Smith, age 78 of Arley, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2025 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1947 to Robert Smith and Dorothy.
Visitation will be Monday, December 22, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, Alabama, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs. Brother Zach Beard will officiate.
Donald is survived by his sons, Robert Smith, and William Walker; granddaughters, Barbara Walker and Madyson Smith; grandsons, Riley Walker, Dylan Smith, Liam Smith and Caiden Smith; nephew, Heath Smith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sara Darlene Smith, brother, Ronald Smith; father, Robert Smith and mother, Dorothy.
