Carl David Stokes, better known as David, age 72 of Lynn Alabama passed away Friday, January 30, 2026 at his home. He was a member of Lynn Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Monday, February 2, 2026 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville, Alabama. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Todd Tittle and Vance Hutton officiating. Burial will follow in Goldmine Cemetery, Brilliant, Alabama.
David is survived by his wife, Barbara Stokes; son, David (Sandy) Hood; daughters, Kelly (Jason) Pollard and Dana (Chad) Barton; grandchildren, Ashley Hood, Ryan (Rose) Oden, Chasity (Adam) Martin, Amber (Collin) Akers, Jada (Justin) Campbell, Trinity, Trevor and Tatum Barton; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Cookie (David) Rosser; brothers, Jeff (Debbie) Stokes, Charlie (Mary) Stokes and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Mary Alice Stokes; sister, Candy Sims; and brother, Willie Stokes.
