Connie Berry, age 81 of Haleyville, Alabama passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Haleyville Health Care.
She was born November 22, 1943 to Harold and Hattie Dodd. Connie was a musical soul who enjoyed playing guitar, piano and singing. She loved her church congregation and her family very dearly. Connie enjoyed going out to eat and shopping. She always loved talking to people and was a member of the Lighthouse Church.
Visitation will be Friday, September 12, 2025 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. . Kelcy Kirk and Pastor Ricky White will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Haleyville.
Connie is survived by her children, Trica (Danny) Martin, Mae (John) Gandy, Shirley (Robert) Wakefield, Kathy (Bobby) Martello; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and brothers, Albert Dodd, David Dodd, and Dean Dodd.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Berry; sons, Samuel Berry, Daniel Berry; daughter, Charity Cordray; granddaughter, Monica Martello; great grandson, Nathaniel Mann; parents, Harold and Hattie Dodd; and brothers, Robert Dodd, and Donald Dodd.
