Claudia Louise Rucker, age 87 of Houston, passed away July 07, 2025. She was born January 26, 1938 to David and Viola Wilson. Claudia was a member of Houston Baptist Church, where she was a faithful follower of Jesus. She was passionate, patient and kind. Claudia loved gospel music and played the piano in her church until she was 87. She was a generous soul dedicated to her church and community.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Houston Baptist Church, where the service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Donnie Carroll, Brother Mickel Walker and Chris Rucker will officiate.
Claudia is survived by her son, Chris and his wife, Debi Rucker; grandchildren, Noah and Caleb Rucker; special adopted grandchildren, Tommy Lee and Taylen Daniel; niece, Judy Webster; and a host of family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reed Rucker; parents, Dave and Viola Wilson; brothers and sisters, Dave Wilson, Jr., Wallace Wilson, Willodean Wilson Wade, Earl Wilson, Berlin Wilson and Martha Wilson Harbison.
