Christopher Reed Ward, age 56, of Double Springs passed away Saturday August 22, 2026, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born April 17, 1970, to Jimmy and Kay Ward.
Gathering of Friends will be Wednesday August 26, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs where a Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Christopher is survived by his son, Braden Ward; father, Jimmy Ward; brother, Jonathan (Kelley) Ward; sister, Jennifer Ward-Windham; and nieces, Rylan Windham and Kaygan Windham.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Kay Ward; grandparents, Hugh and Era Ward, Travis “Short” and Oneita Hagan; and great grandmother, Verta Camp.
