Your Busy Bee Community Calendar for December 1st, 2025:
Bear Creek’s annual Christmas Parade will be Friday at 6pm. If you would like to participate, lineup will be at 5:30 in the Phillips school parking lot.
Christmas in The City will take place this Saturday, beginning at noon in downtown Haleyville. Vendor booths open at noon, and special music and performances in the Heart of Haleyville Park also begin at noon. Santa will be in the park from 2 to 4pm, so bring your camera or phone for photos with him! The Christmas tree lighting will take place at 4:30, and the parade begins at 5:30. So make plans to come out to Christmas in The City on December 6th!
Also on Saturday, the Haleyville Public Library will have special kids activities during Christmas in The City from Noon to 2pm. Kids have the opportunity to write letters to Santa and receive a special treat bag while they are there.
Christmas At The Lake will begin Thursday December 11th and will run through Christmas night at City Lake in Haleyville. Any church, business, or civic organization wishing to put out a display should contact Gary Sutliff at 205-269-8622.
Christmas in Phil Campbell will be Thursday December 11th, with the Christmas parade down Broad Street and Highway 13 at 6pm, and the tree lighting in Phil Campbell Memorial Park immediately after the parade.
The Hackleburg High School Band is hosting their Band of Gold Holiday Market, Saturday December 13th, from 9am to 4pm at the Hackleburg Rec Center. There will be handmade ornaments, decorations, baked treats, and other items for sale. The center is located on Mixon Street in Hackleburg.
Solid Rock Church will host Christmas At The Rock, Sunday December 21st at 3pm. They will have pictures with Santa, cookie decorating, hot cocoa, and more! The church is located at 2507 Newburg Road, just off the four lane in Haleyville.
