Charles “Wade” Oden, age 84, of Phil Campbell, AL, passed away on September 25, 2025. A visitation will be held at Pinkard Funeral Home in Russellville, AL on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church on Monday, September 29 at 1:00 PM with Bro. Keith Prince and Bro. Dennis Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
Wade was a long-time member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He loved his family more than anything. Some of the best memories of him are when he was spending quality time with his grandbabies. He also enjoyed many other hobbies as well, including fishing, hunting, gun collecting, and spending time with his 2 dogs, Betty & Boomer.
Wade is preceded in death by his parents, John & Ethel Oden; and his brother, James E. Oden.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Oden; his daughter, Wenona Oden; and his grandchildren, Andrew & Alexis.
