It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Mitchell Lane of Russellville who departed this life on December 1, 2025 at the age of 64. He was born November 13, 1961 to Charles and Rose Lane who preceded him in death.
Mitch, as he was known enjoyed farm life and Alabama football. He loved his family and his church, Cherry Hill Baptist Church. Mitch’s kindness, generosity, and love for his family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Mitch is survived by his sisters Marguerite Lane Coan (Justin), Michell Lane, and Mary Lane Brown (Erik); six (6) nephews Jordan Keith Coan (Morgan), Canaan John Coan (Emma Grace), Noah Mitchell Coan, (Makayla), Eli Joseph Brown, Hayden James Brown, and Jackson Lane Brown; one (1) great nephew, Ryker Lane Coan and a host of other family and friends.
Service will be held, Friday, December 5, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Chapel. There will be NOT be a visitation.
