The Spruce Pine Community Center is hosting a barbecue fundraiser this Friday, June 13th from 4pm to 7pm. For ten dollars, you’ll get a pulled pork plate with slaw, baked beans, roll, dessert, and a drink. All proceeds benefit the Spruce Pine Historical Society.
This Saturday, the City of Haleyville will host the first event in their Haleyville Hometown Summer series, with Farmers Market Day at the Heart of Haleyville Park. Come down to main street for fresh and canned produce, baked goods, arts and crafts, and some great Bluegrass music. That’s this Saturday from 9am to 3pm.
Right after that event, The Delmar Fire Department is hosting a fundraiser dinner. They will be serving up Barbecue baked potatoes from 4pm to 7pm this Saturday. A ten-dollar donation gets you a baked potato with barbecue meat, all the trimmings, and a drink. That’s June 14th at the Delmar Fire Department.
