The Pebble to Union Community Yard Sale will take place next Friday and Saturday October 3rd and 4th. The yard sale will stretch over 18 miles. If you would like to set up and sell, the Pebble Community Center is renting booth spaces at ten dollars per space per day. They will have refreshments for sale and restrooms on site, so it’s the place to be!
The Delmar Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a smoked chicken wing dinner, Saturday October 4th from 4 to 7pm. Each plate will cost $10 and you will get eight wings, fries, Texas toast, and either iced tea or bottled water. Proceeds help Delmar Fire Department continue their service to the community.
Grace Baptist Church will hold their annual Bean Supper on Sunday, Oct 12th. The supper will begin immediately after their morning service around 12:15. You can dine in or take out. For a five-dollar donation, you’ll receive beans, slaw, cornbread and dessert. The church is located at 26268 Highway 129, Haleyville.
