Billy John Goodwin, age 94 of Double Springs, passed away September 30, 2025 at Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation Center in Double Springs.
He was born October 29, 1930 to GW and Minnie Goodwin.
Visitation will be Friday, October 03, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Winston Memorial in Haleyville. Ed Townsend will officiate.
Billy is survived by his wife, Virginia Goodwin; daughters, Pam (Eric) Rogers and Terri Goodwin Self; grandchildren, Jason (Debbie) Dunaway, Kellie (Shane) Estill, Lindsey (Heath) Hood, Ericka Callahan, Whitney Hudson, Justin Haley, Dylan (Chelsea) Rogers and Levi Rogers; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister, Mary Ruth Riddle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, GW Goodwin; mother, Minnie Head Goodwin; daughter, Debbie Goodwin Bell; and granddaughter, Katie Bell; and several brothers and sisters.
