Betty Durbin, age 75 of Adamsville, formerly of Double Springs, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was born April 25, 1950 to Sylvester B. and Catherine O. Webb. Betty enjoyed going to the beach, the “longest yard sale’ and the mountains with “The Cousins”. She loved her dog, Blue and her kitty, Mr. Kitty, but her grandkids were her pride and joy. Betty was very supportive and a hands-on Mimi. She lived in Adamsville and graduated from Minor High School.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 02, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where the service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mount Ebron Church Cemetery. Brother Gene Cook will officiate.
Betty is survived by her significant other, Brian Rainey; children, Stephany (Hank) Moore and Jason Cooper; grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Austin (Lindsey) Rainey, J.D. and Holland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Catherine Webb; and brothers, Sydney Webb, Jeff Webb and Mike Webb.
